About
An engineering team, not an estimating vendor.
PanAmerican Engineering Solutions has been the back office for US electrical contractors since 2020. Our team is in Mexico, and we say so up front, because in our case it is an advantage.
Who we are
Built to be the department you did not hire
An in-house estimator is a fixed salary against work that arrives in waves. Bid season stacks up and the takeoffs get rushed; the season passes and the salary keeps running. Contractors end up choosing between turning down invitations and pricing work faster than they can check.
We started in 2020 to be the third option: engineers and architects you can put behind your bids without putting them on payroll. Since then we have completed 700 projects and bids for contractors across the United States, and we can run up to 20 at the same time.
The model is deliberately not a job shop. You get an assigned estimator who stays on your work, billed monthly. By the third month they know your assemblies, your labor units and the way your company prices risk. That accumulated knowledge is the whole point, and it is what a per-bid vendor structurally cannot give you.
The team
Twenty people, and you will know which ones are yours
Every client gets named engineers rather than a ticket queue. One engineer produces your package and a supervisor reviews it before it reaches you — every time, on every deliverable.

The engineer who produces your package and the supervisor who reviews it are introduced by name when we start working together.
Why nearshore
Our team is in Mexico. Here's why that works for you.
Most estimating vendors never tell you where their team sits. We'd rather you know.
Your hours, not a night shift
Mexico shares business hours with most of the US. We run Monday to Friday, 8 to 5. When your PM calls at 10 a.m., we answer at 10 a.m.
Nearshore is not offshore
Mexico operates under the USMCA trade framework, which includes an intellectual property chapter binding all three countries. That is a different risk profile than sending plans overseas.
Work you can watch
Estimates in professional estimating software (e.g. IntelliBid), markups in Bluebeam, records in Procore. The work happens in your own accounts, where you can check it any day.
NDA before anything else
We sign your NDA, or ours, before a single sheet changes hands. Access to your documents is limited to the engineers on your project.
NEC and local codes
Engineers and architects with more than 10 years of experience in the industry, estimating and reviewing US electrical projects against the National Electrical Code and local amendments.
Meetings, not just deliverables
Scheduled calls, Teams or Zoom, or straight through Procore, on your business hours. All the work is done from Mexico, so what you get is the same team on the call that built the package.
What we work in
Our engineers hold electrical engineering credentials and work in the software your team already uses.

- Bluebeam Revu
- Procore
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- DIALux

Leadership
Built by two engineers, not a management layer
César Leal and Saúl Valdez founded PanAmerican in 2020 to be the estimating department contractors don't have to hire outright. They're still the two names behind the numbers that leave the building.
Common questions
Answers before you hand over a plan set
What is PanAmerican Engineering Solutions?
PanAmerican Engineering Solutions is an engineering firm that works as an outsourced estimating, pre-construction and project management department for electrical contractors in the United States. It has been operating since 2020, has completed 700 projects and bids, and its team of 20 people works from Mexico.
Where is PanAmerican's team based?
In Mexico, serving electrical contractors across the United States. That puts the team in the same business window as most US contractors, Monday to Friday, 8 to 5, and under the USMCA trade framework, which includes an intellectual property chapter binding all three countries. PanAmerican states the location up front rather than leaving it to be discovered.
Is PanAmerican an offshore estimating service?
No, it is nearshore. The team is in Mexico, one or two hours from most US time zones rather than overnight, so a call at ten in the morning is answered at ten in the morning. Mexico also operates under the USMCA trade framework, which includes an intellectual property chapter binding all three countries. That is a different risk profile than sending plan sets overseas.
How experienced is the team?
The engineers and architects on the team have more than 10 years of experience in the industry. That figure belongs to the professionals, not to the firm: PanAmerican Engineering Solutions itself has been operating since 2020 and has completed 700 projects and bids for US electrical contractors in that time.
How does PanAmerican protect confidential drawings?
An NDA is signed before any plans, specs or pricing change hands, using your standard agreement or ours. Access is limited to the engineers assigned to your project, and files stay in the platforms you approve, which is usually your own Bluebeam or Procore account rather than somewhere you cannot see.
